If you decide not to have the repairs made, you will be charged for the maintenance fee plus return shipping. There’s no difference between clipper oil barbers and hair salons use and the stuff you’ll buy to use at home. If we can fix the problem, we will notify you of any additional costs over $15 before fixing. If we cannot fix the problem, we will return the clipper motor to you along with your shipping costs. If it is not in our stock, we can usually get it in about 2 or 3 days. We keep in stock most of the common replacement parts for the popular Oster, Andis and Wahl clipper motors. Check bushings Check wire connections REPAIR Some parts will wear out, causing the clipper blade to not cut correctly, these worn out parts are often detected while doing routine maintenance. Depending on the make and model of your clipper motor, we will perform one or more of these maintenance items Open case and remove any clogged hair Check wear on hinges and cams Oil and or grease cams, gears, arbors etc. CLIPPER MOTOR MAINTENANCE Clipper motors need to be routinely inspected and cleaned. If you are still unsatisfied, we will refund your money including shipping costs. If, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with the work, let us know and we will do whatever we can to correct the problem. The blade must slide easily through our test hair/ fur before it is shipped back to you.
After sharpening, each blade is oiled and placed on a clipper motor and tested. Also, you should oil your blades every 20 minutes and between cuts. There are four points on the clipper blade to oil. Like human hair clippers, dog clippers work best when they have lubrication, as lubrication reduces friction and extends the life of the blades. We will call or email you for approval prior to making these replacements. How To Properly Maintain and Oil Clippers. These will be replaced at an additional cost. In some cases, we may need to replace the tension spring, plastic blade guide, socket, or cutter. Spring tension and socket alignments are made if needed at no additional costs.
